Frequently asked questions
What is the published 310S hot-rolled coil route?
The China route used for RFQ planning covers 2–10 mm thickness and 1,000–3,100 mm width. The workable 310S combination also depends on the product standard, coil weight, ID/OD, quantity and inspection scope.
What cold-rolled coil dimensions can I send for review?
The published cold-rolled route covers 0.20–6.50 mm thickness and 730–1,600 mm width. Include finish, edge, coil weight and geometry because those inputs determine the suitable route.
Why do coil weight and ID/OD matter in an RFQ?
They determine compatibility with the decoiler, handling equipment, transport saddle and conversion line. State target and maximum coil weight, inside diameter, outside-diameter limit and winding direction.
Can a 310S coil order include slitting or cut-to-length?
Yes. Add slit widths or sheet dimensions, burr and camber requirements, edge, flatness, package weight and inspection sampling so the finished conversion route is included in the quotation.
How is 310S coil protected for export?
Packing can include waterproof wrapping, edge and bore protection, steel bands, saddles or skids and container securing. Coil orientation, lifting and destination rules are agreed with the packing plan.
